Terms of Business

These terms apply when you book a consultation or programme with Kiara Bishop (Naturopathic Nutritionist, Dip CNM mANP), whether through this website, Practice Better, or directly by email. By booking, you agree to the terms below.
1. Services
Kiara Bishop offers naturopathic nutrition consultations, including a free 15-minute discovery call, a single Reset session, and the Adjust and Align support programmes, as described on the Services page. Programme content, session count, and pricing are as set out at the time of booking.
2. Bookings and payment
Bookings are made through Practice Better. Full payment, or the first instalment where an instalment plan is offered, is required to confirm a booking. Instalment plans must be kept up to date for a programme to continue.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed entirely, may be charged in full, since the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you.
Please arrive, or be ready for your call, at the agreed start time. If you're late, the session may need to end at the originally scheduled time regardless, so the length of your consultation isn't unavoidably shortened for you.
Occasionally we may need to reschedule a session ourselves; where possible we'll give at least 24 hours' notice and will always work with you to find a new time that suits.
If you need to cancel a programme partway through, please get in touch to discuss your options.
We reserve the right to decline to provide services to any prospective or existing client. If this happens, any amount you've pre-paid for services not yet delivered will be refunded in full.
4. Refunds
The Reset session is non-refundable once it has taken place, but can be rescheduled in line with the cancellation policy above. For Adjust and Align, the initial consultation fee is non-refundable once delivered; unused later sessions may be refunded at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred (such as functional testing already ordered).
5. Not a substitute for medical care
Naturopathic nutrition is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from your GP or another qualified medical professional. Nothing discussed in a consultation is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please continue to see your GP or specialist for any medical concerns, and always seek emergency medical care directly from emergency services, not through this practice.
Please tell us about any medications, supplements, or medical conditions you have, and check with your GP or pharmacist before starting any new supplement, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking prescribed medication.
6. Your responsibilities
To get the most from working together, we ask that you share accurate and complete information about your health history and current circumstances, and let us know if anything changes between sessions.
7. Functional testing
Where functional testing (such as a DUTCH hormone test or microbiome analysis) is recommended, this is arranged through third-party testing laboratories, not run by Kiara Bishop directly. If you choose to proceed, your contact details will need to be shared with the relevant testing company to process your order and results, and their own terms and privacy policy will apply to that part of the process. The cost of testing is separate from and in addition to programme fees.
8. Confidentiality
Any personal or health information you share is kept confidential and handled in line with our Privacy Policy. Information may only be shared with your consent, or where we're required to by law.
9. Liability
We'll provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else which cannot legally be excluded.
10. Complaints
If you're ever unhappy with any aspect of your care, please contact hello@kiarabishop.com directly so we can put it right. As a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), unresolved complaints can also be referred to the ANP.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in place at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
